Recently announced, The Dames Of Darkness Festival is back for it’s fourth edition which is set to take place on Saturday May 10th. And once again, the festival will be held at The Robin 2, Bilston, Wolverhampton, UK.

The festival’s 2014 line-up is as follows:

Having recently released the groundbreaking album ‘Neverworld’s End’ after the edition of the German lyric soprano Manuela Kraller in December, 2010. The band announced the departure of Kraller on October 25th, and the addition on Dutch vocalist, and Ex-Libris frontwoman Dianne van Giersbergen.

Next up are the Dutch/Mexican symphonic, progressive metal band Stream of Passion who will also be headlining the festival. Belgian electro metallers Skeptical Minds will also be making an appearance. With the band busy at work raising funds for their forthcoming concept album and comic, due around May 2014 we are certainly in for a few treats. Donations towards this project can be made via indiegogo.

Former Visions Of Atlantis vocalist Maxi Nil will be returning to Dames Of Darkness again in 2014 with her new project: Jaded Star. The festival will mark the band’s live debut, and hopefully we should see the surfacing of a debut album in 2014 too.

Dames Of Darkness Festival creator, Dave Homer will be back rocking the stage again with Apparition, the brainchild of ex-drummer Paul Collins. Joining the band of stage will be ex-Shield Of Wings vocalist Grace Méridan, who will also be performing with the band on three other UK dates over February and May 2014.

Melodic metallers Incarnadine Coven hailing from Reading, UK will be returning for another festival appearance after rocking the Kraken Metal Festival in Belgium this November.

Amongst the British contingent are Dyonisis, hailing from Sheffield, UK. The quartet combines a mixture of elements of rock, trip-hop and folk, along with the dual vocals of frontwomen Nel Cave and Louisa Welsby. The band are offering Eve’s Song from their 2007 album ‘Intoxicated’ for free download here.

Last, but by no means least are British, Stafford based symphonic metal band Divided We Fall. The band are currently at work writing and recording their debut album, with no set release date as of yet. In the meantime their three-track EP can be streamed via soundcloud.
